I have set a Plume Agate cabochon in sterling silver. The stone is framed by a hammered sterling silver border and it is suspended along a sterling silver cable chain. Above the pendant is a handmade beaded chain I have created by carefully wrapping genuine Garnet gems in sterling silver wire. The two chains overlap to create a unique layered style. The back of the necklace features a 2-inch extender allowing it to be worn from about 18-20 inches for the Plume Agate chain and about 17-19 inches for the Garnet chain. The silver has been oxidized and polished to create a patina finish.
